This comprehensive program focuses on Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsible ownership – everything your puppy needs to become a well-mannered and happy member of the family.
In this fun and engaging class, your puppy will learn:
* Basic obedience cues: Sit, down, come, and walking on a leash.
* Socialization skills: Polite greetings with people and other puppies.
* Impulse control: Manners like accepting handling and inhibiting biting.
* Problem prevention: Addressing common puppy issues like chewing and nipping
You'll learn:
* Effective training techniques: Using positive reinforcement to motivate your puppy.
* Understanding canine body language: Recognizing your puppy's communication signals.
* Responsible dog ownership: Health care, nutrition, and preventing common behavior problems.
This class is perfect for puppies under 6 months old. Graduates earn the prestigious AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction and are well-prepared for the AKC Canine Good Citizen program!
