We all start with the same dream: the best life possible for our dogs. Whether you brought home a blank-slate puppy or a rescue ready to rewrite their story, you wanted a partner for life’s adventures (and the quiet snuggles in between).
But somewhere between the “Good Citizen” checklists and the neighbor’s sport performance dog, the path gets blurry. You’re left wondering: Am I doing enough? Why is my dog struggling when that one isn’t? Comparison is the thief of joy, and in dog training, it’s often the reason people give up.
We believe that everyone gets the dog they need in life (which may be different than the one you thought your wanted!) There are lessons to be learned from each other, and we’re here for it!

Enrollment: Designing Your Unique Path
Because the ARTS program prioritizes the individual journey of every team, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter training plans. Your path to a degree is as unique as your dog’s DNA. To begin, we offer two distinct tracks to graduation:
Track A: The Guided Journey This is for the team that wants the full academic experience. You’ll meet with your Academic Advisor to determine a distinctive path forward, focusing on the specific “I Wish” goals in your life. We encourage you to download the Student Handbook today to begin your Baseline Log. Feel free to email your Advisor ahead of time with questions or documentation of any training you’ve already started!
Track B: For the Experienced Team: We respect the time you’ve already invested in your dog. If you truly feel you already have the foundational skills covered in the Associate level and wish to move straight to your degree, we offer a Direct Assessment route. You will schedule two sessions: one to demonstrate your mastery of the coursework and explain your Capstone, and a second to present your results.

But what does it cost? It all depends! Since we dont have cookie cutter programs, there is no one set fee. You only pay for the lessons & classes you take! The ARTS program is designed to provide you with a framework for your training, not take your money. For 2026, our inaugural year, there will be no additional cost to enroll in the ARTS program.
